Mui Ne Beach is located about 120 miles east to Saigon. Awesome sand dunes have been created there by winds. Due to the strong wind, windsurfing and kite-surfing are very popular there. In Mui Ne is the strangest weather in Vietnam and tropics because is hot and dry, not hot and wet as the regular weather in Asia.
Beaches in Vung Tau, located also close to Saigon (80 miles), attract many Vietnamese and foreign tourists.
Ha Tien is lying on the border with Cambodia (5 miles away) and it features several awesome beaches. Hon Chong Beach has white sand and calm waters, while nearby the Tien Cave attracts travelers with two beach entrances. The nearby islands are drawing scuba divers, snorkeling fans, fisherman, and holiday makers interested in enjoying boat rides.
Phu Quoc Island, situated in the Gulf of Thailand, is the largest island in Vietnam and is covered by mountains, lush jungles, and gorgeous soft-sand beaches.
In the western side of Vietnam is located Bai Truong Beach, where tourists can enjoy magnificent sunsets over the Gulf of Thailand.
