One of the top vacation spots in Vietnam which attracts numerous tourists is Hanoi, the capital city, situated on the right bank of the Red River. It is one of the oldest capital cities in the world (founded with more than 1,000 years ago!), so there are plenty of cultural and historical attractions. In the same time, Hanoi is a bustling city that welcomes holiday makers with modern resorts.
